16x Speed Burning Information

To obtain 16 x speed burning is very, very dependent on your hardware set up and the media used for burning and reading.
To obtain 16x speed burning in any writer a compatible 16x media is required ... this is dependent on firmware revision and compatibility etc. of media with the writer.
We have never found a ROM that will read DVD-/+R media at 16x speed ... the maximum read speed on ROMS is for original "pressed" media.
Because of this the ROM may not be capable of "keeping up" with the writers and therefore the burning speed will be reduced... unless using a "pressed" DVD as the "master".
Please take all the above in to consideration if you are unable to burn at 16x speed.
